What We Do
Future Events
Right now, we're not doing any public events, but in the future, we hope to do things like beach cleanups, planting trees, and bringing awareness to the people and committee around us.
Our Main Message
We believe that everyone deserves to lead a healthy life. With the ever-growing threat of climate change, we want to make sure that as many people as possible understand the threats of global warming as well as what they can do to make a difference.
Raising Awareness
Because of the ongoing threat of climate change, we want to make sure that people understand what's happening to our planet. We also want others to know that there are resources that they can go to get more information.
Who Are We?
Hi! My name is Sabine Howson and I'm a freshman in high school. My partner, Dannya Hussain, is a junior at the same school. We are a part of the EnviroLiteracy Taskforce that's working to get more information on climate change into the curriculum of the schools in SDUSD. We are also working to encourage more students to take part in volunteer work that will help the environment.
The world around us is constantly changing. We understand that climate change and the problems that come with it are affecting us and the lives of the people around us every day. We want our peers, other students, and everyone else around us to understand that this is a huge problem that we're facing and that we can't solve that problem alone.
